Hi, I’m Kyra Meulenberg, a finance professional and professional triathlete.
In 2025, I’m proud to make my debut as a PRO athlete. After years of discipline and determination, I earned my PRO license in 2024. A milestone that reflects my commitment to chasing big dreams.
Alongside my passion for sport, I’ve built a career in finance and currently work as an Operational Portfolio Manager at Aegon Asset Management. I chose not to follow the traditional path of a fulltime job alone. Instead, I reduced my working hours to give my triathlon journey a real chance. Racing at the highest level while maintaining my professional ambitions.
My journey began with an untrained marathon in 3:09, and quickly progressed to winning multiple IRONMAN races, including becoming the IRONMAN Age Group World Champion (25–29) in 2021. In 2024, racing in a pro field in France confirmed what I felt: I belong here.
I believe in balance, big goals, and showing what’s possible when you fully commit. Whether in sport or career. I’ve always given 100%, completing two master’s degrees while working and training 15–20 hours a week. Sport has shaped who I am, but it’s not all I am. Through Social Media, mentoring, and speaking, I hope to inspire others to chase their own goals no matter how ambitious. Sport has the power to transform lives, and I’m here to lead by example.
